Good News for the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico—The Hard Rock Hotel, Vallarta is expected to debut a new 12,900-square-foot Sanctuary Convention Center—the largest ever built in Riviera Nayarit.

The convention center is inspired by the U.K.’s Sanctuary Records Group which is one of the world’s largest independent record labels. This will triple the hotel’s existing event space at 20,000 square feet.

The Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta’s latest addition will pay tribute to the iconic artists formerly and currently signed to the record label, and will display memorabilia including a Black Sabbath guitar, a Jimi Hendrix mural, an Elton John beaded jacket and a Guns N’Roses amplifier.

“The new convention center will improve the already top-notch all-inclusive meeting experience offered at Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta,” said VP of Meeting & Incentive Sales, Kevin Edmunds. “More than 70 percent of the brand’s groups business is repeat customers and whether meeting for business or tying the knot, we look forward to serving more needs with the expansion of the resort. We provide the highest level of customization and flexibility to each guest and every group, allowing us to exceed guests’ expectations and add to their memories.”

The five star hotel was recently awarded Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers Choice Award. Hotel amenities include six restaurants, five bars, two outdoor swimming pools and two outdoor hydro tubs, fitness center and spa, volleyball and basketball courts, and a salon.

The convention center will be open this Fall.
