PHILADELPHIA, PA – Castle Rock Equity announced it has purchased the ICON building at 1616 Walnut Street in Philadelphia’s City Center neighborhood for $112 million. The ICON is an amazing property, because of its historical design.

This is a 25-story tower that is a part of the National Register of Historic places that was constructed in 1929 as an office building.
In 2014 the building went under a complete transformation, converting the 206 unit building to residential use. There have been so much more done since then. Renovations includes a Sky Deck rooftop terrace, state of the art wellness center, electric car charging station, a bike share program and pet grooming station.
